FLiP task

FLiP stands for Functional Language Proficiency.
It elicits bilingual children’s everyday language brokering to assess how they use English and Spanish to serve a communicative purpose. It is a brief performance-based task using short bilingual scenarios with flexible, meaningful responses. Average administration time ≈ 15 minutes for grades 1–3. Clinicians can use the FLiP to complement standardized tools and language samples. It is not a standalone diagnostic for DLD at this time.
Please fill out the following form and our team will share the FLiP task with you!
