PUENTE Desert View 2nd Cohort University of Arizona Visit!
Our 2nd Cohort of PUENTE students from @desertviewsusd12 visited us at the University of Arizona last week! Our biggest cohort yet! 🤩🪅
PUENTE is our high school educational and outreach program for high school students to learn about introductory concepts in speech, language, and sciences, careers in speech-language pathology and audiology, while also learning important facts about bilingual development and transitions to higher education. 🧠 PUENTE students also heard from many voices on campus about the importance of building comunidad and exploring campus life. This is how we bridge communities, opportunities, and generations in our community. . What better time than National Speech, Language, Hearing Month? @ashaweb
