Come join VAMOSS next Monday 9/28 for our first meeting of the semester, ✨ Cuentos Bilingües ✨ with the BABEL lab team! 🪅

Marianna Martinez @marianna.g.martinez is a stellar undergraduate researcher in the BABEL Lab and is also a children’s book author of La Muñeca Lele! 👏🏽🤩 She will lead us in a discussion on culturally responsive representation in children’s books and the importance of biliteracy! Marianna will conclude with a fun craft activity that you can take with you for your future pediatric treatment sessions! 🗣️🩷

Through the session, the BABEL team will also highlight how to apply language facilitation and development principles during literacy activities to support multilingual learners! 🪅

Come and mejorar your Spanish with us in a space that welcomes all levels and backgrounds! It’s on all of us to learn more about other communities that we will be serving in our professions 🤓
