Our PUENTE students from Desert View High School visited the University of Arizona!

¡Qué orgullo! Our PUENTE students from Desert View High School visited the University of Arizona yesterday! 🤩🪅 PUENTE is our high school educational and outreach program for high school students to learn about the careers of speech-language pathology and audiology, while also learning important concepts about the professions and transitioning to higher education.

PUENTE students heard from so many voices on campus about the importance of building comunidad, exploring campus life, and imagining their futures rooted in educación, comunidad, and using their voice for good. This is how we bridge communities, opportunities, and generations. The story of U of A and SLHS is still being written. PUENTE is making sure it sounds more like us!
