The Missing Pieces in Equitable Healthcare


Dismantling health disparities starts with looking at our own systems! 🗣️ We start this April week off with an overview of healthcare disparities, thanks to the incredible work of BABEL Lab undergraduate researcher, @katherine.berntsen 🤩👏🏽


For too long, the burden of systemic failure has been placed on marginalized communities. It is time we shift the lens. As providers and practitioners, it is our responsibility to equip ourselves with the tools to offer truly competent, equity-centered care that honors the linguistic and cultural identities of the people we serve.
