The BABEL Lab went hard last week! 🤩🙌🏽
We had the opportunity to connect with high school and undergraduate students all through the week as part of our PUENTE program 🌉
BABEL Lab undergraduate researchers @m_ari_aaaa and @andresvega.n connected with undergraduates at the Health Careers Expo on campus, and @crabs.kadabs and @penelopesainz22 joined Dr. Oglivie in sharing about careers in SLHS at the Careers in Education Fair on campus! 🧠 Dr. Arizmendi joined the amazing @ruitheslp at Sunnyside High School to share more about local pathways to SLHS careers, with thanks to the @sunnysideedpro team for organizing the round tables! Of course, we also got to see the PUENTE Year 2 students @dvhs_edpro for another incredible lesson to wrap up on bilingual development and language varieties 🤩🫶🏽
