First VAMOSS meeting of the year!

Estamos tan felices that our first VAMOSS meeting of the year nos fue al cien! 🤩🎉

We are inspired by our learning community both on and off campus to come together to mejorar our Spanish in SLHS! 🫶🏽 For our first meeting, we got to know a little bit more about our learning community by practicando español en un VAMOSS bingo game! We learned that there were no zurdos in the room (zurdo=left handed) 🫨

The return of VAMOSS this year feels particularly special. Con los ataques seguidos a nuestras comunidades y nuestras idiomas, es una forma de resistencia usar, practicar, y mejorar una parte de nosotros que tratan tan duro quitarnos, all while improving our skill sets to communicate with our gente in our lives ❤️
